Our team
Natalie Gamble
Natalie is known internationally, not only as the UK's leading fertility lawyer but also for her gentle tenacity which has enabled much needed changes in the UK legal system. Inspired by the lack of expert legal advice available when she built her own donor-conceived family in 2001, Natalie pioneered the creation of fertility law in the UK, first at the law firm where she worked between 2001 and 2009 and then by setting up her own specialist firm.
A passionate champion of same-sex parents and fertility patients, Natalie has for many years been at the forefront of making law in Parliament (see our campaigning page) and in court (see our leading fertility law cases). She was named in the Independent on Sunday's Pink List as one of the 100 most influential gay people in the UK, and in 2010 invited to meet Prime Minister at a 10 Downing Street reception in recognition of her work. Natalie has also been nominated for the Stonewall Hero of the Year Award and named as the Times Lawyer of the Week. She is a frequent BBC interviewee and national press commentator and has written for the Guardian (see our media page). She is a member of the Board of Trustees of Infertility Network UK and a member of the American Bar Association's Assisted Reproductive Technology Committee. Natalie currently sits as a member of the HFEA's expert oversight group on mitochondrial disease.

Nicola Scott
Nicola is passionate and empathetic and often the first port of call for clients seeking insight into the complexities of fertility law. As the firm's first trainee solicitor, Nicola assists Natalie and Sarah with the firm’s legal work.
Nicola’s existing passion for fertility law stemmed from her law degree. She received a first-class mark for her final year dissertation on donor conception, surrogacy, parental status, and the differences between the legal treatment of heterosexual, gay, single and transgender parents, the availability of identifying information about donors, and the parental responsibility of mothers, fathers, and non-biological parents.
