We are the specialist family law firm which pioneered fertility law in the UK. We have worked with non traditional families for many years, creating new law through leading cases on international surrogacy, donor conception, embryo storage and same sex parenting, as well as providing high quality support with relationship breakdown and other family disputes.
Our story
Natalie broke new ground as the UK's first fertility lawyer over a decade ago, and our team has subsequently acted in virtually all the UK's leading fertility law cases (which you can read more about here).
Unusual families need unusual lawyers, and we are not afraid to do things differently. We are known for our embracing, positive and personal ethos, and our unique practical knowledge. We have a formidable reputation for challenging the boundaries of the law and for our specialist expertise. From our idyllic non-corporate offices ninety minutes out of London in the New Forest, we work with clients from all over the world, including high profile individuals.
We are also a campaigning law firm and work relentlessly to promote the interests of non traditional families (see our Campaigning page). We have been instrumental in winning key legal changes in Parliament, including the right of same sex parents to be named on birth certificates together, and maternity leave rights for parents through surrogacy. We are consulted by government, members of Parliament, the HFEA, Stonewall and across the national media and are regular commentators on Woman's Hour and the Today Programme.
