Costs and working with us

When you first contact us, one of our solicitors will discuss your situation with you by email or telephone to explore how we can help you.

The next step is to arrange a meeting. This can be face-to-face, or by Skype or telephone. We will send you our terms of business setting out our charges in writing before we meet you, which may be a fixed fee or on the basis of our hourly rates with an estimate of costs.

We offer a flexible range of services, including:

• Legal advice
• Mediation services
• Representation in court proceedings or support to help you represent yourself in court.

We always discuss our fees in advance. Where possible, our work is charged on a fixed-fee basis. Where we charge on a time basis we manage costs transparently, with clear estimates, regular monthly billing and support with budgeting. Our hourly rates are competitive and range from £150 to £375 plus VAT.

The costs of mediation are normally split between the parties. Please contact us for further information about our charges for mediation services.
